Death, the finality frontier Part 1 Since death is, inherently, a part of life, can it be considered as an end-of-being? Logically, in this reality, the inability to create or destroy energy leads to the conclusion that death is only a form and, as such, relates to a specific energy state that is just (or perhaps way) beyond the reach of our senses... In standard physics, transitions of state are most often accompanied by conspicuous transformation along with the release or absorption of energy (be it kinetic or potential) on the micro and macro-cosmic levels. This particular inflection point in the curve of conscious awareness/physical presence demonstrates an evident increase in entropy (loss of organisation/information) at least to the perceptions of those observers present. Meta-stable equilibria allow for all kinds of energy states to exist despite being perched on rather unstable flows or slopes. Energy is always required to perturb the "current" status so that it provokes or promotes movement, one way or the other. Understanding our situation relative to a reality of force-fields and energy potentials lends a whole new perspective to our on-going evolution and this, at all levels. A specification concerning the accumulation of information. The basic information is recorded and maintained as the basis for instinctive instruction at the animal level. (Since animals have only this state to rely upon, they are limited to their instincts and unable to access higher levels of conscious awareness.) Much as the alphabet and words are fundamental aspects to communication, it is the sentences and the gist of the story that takes those elements to the next level and reveals the real sense of their existence. Consciousness is less a product of the 3D domain as it is the manifestation of our essence as condensed and limited by our 3D presence. Life is the transient phase because its density and restrictions are needed to conduct our affairs in the material plane. Once those affairs are completed, our spirit aspect continues unabated, freed from its earthly commitment. The energetic conformances and intentions leave their traces for recall as required, depending on the progress achieved. Ultimate and eventual completion allows for continuation of the evolutionary process, away from entropic dissipation and towards intelligent organisation. We are the linch-pins of the cosmos. Its observed characteristics are representative of the opposite pole of our existence. The balance that must be maintained in order to permit our continued performance. So, if the above applies, then why are we so afraid of dying? Should we not simply advance along, evolving as we go and expect that eventually we will transmute out of this material plane with our conscious awareness intact, functional and able to carry on to our next task/reward/repose? The answer lies in the purpose and limitations of the ego itself. (Roughly speaking, our subtle aspect that provides a reflection of the spirit self and operates at the conscious level of material survival.) The ego's main purpose is to maintain and promote conscious awareness. It is limited to individual survival but it supports our process as we progress towards "total" (absolute?) awareness. As such, it is designed to resist all forms of loss of consciousness. How it does this is by reverting to tried and true forms of animal-nature survival. (Fight or flight response etc.) The effect that this provokes within the mind's various levels is to short-circuit and reduce the effective intelligence of the individual. It's reliance on memorial residues (as we do not have access to instinctive responses) occupies and reduces the vibrational frequency of all mental processes. 
An analogous example that applies is the presence of anxiety followed by visceral fear which then transforms to panic. With each step towards abandonment of sentience (and not just reason and logic) we become more of an animal and less of a human. It is this process that limits our ability to deal with death in its variations and to remain "on course" in the direction provided by our spirit consciousness. As far as the "sexual" here and now is concerned, how better to share intimately than through intimacy? It is the densification of our essence that provides the added-value to this plane of existence. We are all about the accumulation and processing of information as well as its transformation into experience. The more tangible, the better both for application as well as for assimilation. This plane is nothing but a continuum of existence that we are currently able to avail ourselves of its potential for sharing. It is this sharing that provides the resonance that "raises" conscious awareness and improves our lot, both here as well as later on. We all realize that the "dumbing-down" caused by religious belief is part of the survival structure involved in tribal and national structures. Conform and follow along and you will be accepted into the fold as a replacement for the insecurity associated with independence. The misrepresentation lies in the difference between independence and autonomy. The former implies separation and isolation while the latter is actually the ability to do as required or to accept assistance without fear of loss of place. The synergistic result of resonant sharing can only come about when parasitic dependence is eliminated. What we can achieve here is seconded and supported by where it can take us. The ability to see both sides of the coin through the sharing of information invariably leads to superior knowledge as well as an increase in well-being. Plus, we get to enjoy the ride. So why does the human condition lend itself to being duped by such obviously false or at least fallible subterfuges? The key lies in the pernicious and insidious aspects of our own personal quest in the here and now. This key is the very nature of the duality of existence. The credence that we give to disinformation is on a par with information. We are processors of data that are designed to look for and reveal patterns and tendencies in our life experience. Upon detecting these "clues" to our position and disposition, we automatically undertake actions to make use of them. The ego is a mechanism that lacks discernment and requires significant adjustment to enable it to separate the wheat from the chaff as it were. The connection to social and religious influence? What is being offered and what are we seeking? Well, we came into this existence to solve and resolve the various difficulties and discrepancies that are present in our being. We are here to "save our souls". To rectify and restore our internal, ethereal being to its pristine and performing condition. We want to be saved because we need to be saved. The problem arises when we confuse what is being offered (salvation)with its ability to produce what we need (resolution). Putting our fate in the hands of those that do not have our best interest at heart, no matter what their intention, only serves to detract from our ability to produce the required result. Knowing the why leads us to the how. The seemingly self-destructive nature of man, as evinced by an ability to commit suicide, appears not only counter-productive, but counter-intuitive as well. How can we be overcome with a strong enough, internally generated force, to embrace death at one's own hand? The heart of the matter lies, interestingly enough, in the "heart". The center of the human emotional flux that affects, influences and heightens our every waking and conscious sentient perception. If the mental structures can be likened to a lens or a prism, the emotional structures simulate a high gain amplifier, a vibratory magnifying glass and a resonance enhancing receiver. We are able, at any time, to increase the magnitude of any feeling or sentient consciousness by simply "circulating" and "re-circulating" the energy present. Like any resonant circuit, feedback loops can develop and despite our inherent negative feedback parameters, certain of our polarized filters can lead to runaway emotional paradigms. The one that is the most powerful is the positive/negative couplet recognized as hope/despair. Despite these two forms being opposites, they are both firmly ensconced in the illusory side of our perceptive abilities. As such, they can turn us away from concrete action and adjustment and stick us in a mire of consistent yet ever-diminishing recursive reflections. It is this loss of energy that saps the vitality from our every movement and eventually leads to the abandonment of our material presence. So then, who gets to pull the plug, as it were? 
Our life's plan is laid out for us as we condense into this material reality. Energetically, we can follow along the most favorable conformance and arrive, intact and regenerated, at our destination. Our spirit (our essence on a higher but less hands-on level) has placed this endeavor in our hands, for us to sort out as best we can, while getting the most out of the experience. How good is our focus? How well are we paying attention? What are the impediments to a satisfactory conclusion? 
The program is inscribed in our memory banks. We do not read this code as much as we reveal it as we go. How good is our recall? Are we able to follow it to the letter or are we subject to interpretive error? The nature of the influence is one of interference. The simple presence of memorial structures (the coding) interacts with the energy flow through them and towards us. Each wave and the ripples that are generated provide the clues and the insight to locating and adjusting for their presence. Like a sharp-shooter considering gravity effects and wind drift when taking aim. 
The ego is not in charge of this process as it is simply the mechanism through which the information passes in both directions. The soul is like an car engine which requires fuel to run but does not fill the gas tank. As stated above, the spirit has laid out the options and provided the opportunities. So what is left? The connection between the ethereal and the material. This connector is amphoteric in nature. Like a soap molecule micelle, one end is compatible with the material plane while the other end can deal with the energy of the spiritual plane. This connection provides a continuous status of being and transmits the psychic energies from the higher planes of our existence into the material. Habitually referred to as the Ethereal Double, this construct is the circuit-breaker in our vital system. When the system overloads (has reached its useful end) the fusible link between the two ends of the structure dissipates and the forces of entropy take over. Of particular interest is the timing associated with dying. Like Heisenberg’s uncertainty principle, because we know the result with certainty, the position (in time) of that result is unknowable. We can, however, explain the mechanism that relates time with experience and vitality. Since everything is energy and energy is vibrational and vibrations occur in cycles, our lives are cyclical in nature. Consider your arrival here as the origin of a 4 dimensional space-time (existence/experience/evolution) expansion of your presence. Each of those three rays of presence progress away orthogonally as sine-waves in the perceptual, emotional and spiritual directions. (7-year cycles that “sweep-out” a volume of experience in each of these domains.) It is that ever-increasing volume that relates to the passage of time and the surface of that expansion that is the event-horizon of the present-moment. Each particular experience is located on the specific sinusoidal ray and the integration of those experiences “fills” the temporal space like air in a balloon. All of those experiences necessarily “fill” that void with their potential but their presence is hidden from us by the certainty of their existence. This lack of fore-knowledge keeps us from trying to avoid some of them, convinced that they were not necessary or could be done in another way. Fulfilling your destiny (The plan that your “higher” self has mapped out for your material existence.) means trying everything that presents itself to the best of your abilities and making the most of what you acquire from them. Getting as far along as you can in that process is the ultimate goal and determines when you have completed (even if only partially) your task. If “Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you are going to get.” then “Living is like a bubble-gum balloon, you never know which breath will make it pop.” Death, the finality frontier. (part 2) Breaking new ground is always without precedent. No philosophy, philology or psychology can predict its arrival or its impact. Psychecology is the study of the terrain of the human mind. Its purpose it to provide a background and a grounding in the fundamental principles of how our essence manifests itself in all of the experiential planes of existence as well as those more subtle and less well-defined. 
Death is the penetration of entropy into the activity of life. Inexorable and incessant, it builds over time until time runs out. Ever-present, it can neither be avoided nor availed. Like the period at the end of a sentence, it provides separation and definition to the on-going accumulation of experience that is our existence. It is the absence of conscious awareness caused by the inability of sentience to maintain organizational intelligence. 
Due to energetic considerations, the evolution of conscious awareness operates like reverse osmosis. The application of a potential gradient (awareness) allows organized information to accumulate despite the natural forces that would tend to dispersion. This gradient permeates the entire universe and provides intelligence with the opportunity to increase and enhance its presence. It is the counter-balancing force to chaos and our raison d'etre. 
Death, you have no sting. And just like reverse osmosis, a membrane is required to allow for the accumulation of increasing intelligence within a domain. Science is just now coming to grips with "branes" and the conformance of the universal cosmology in dynamic terms. 
We live in the information age and the physical universe that our brains perceive perceptually is expanding to allow for the accumulation of that information. Psychically, that expansion is a pressure that creates the gradient that the universal membrane uses to separate us from the entropic chaos that is death. 
The conscious awareness that bathes the universe is not a dynamic force. Its static nature is transformed by the impetus provided during the exchange between different parts of the previously mentioned gradient. Being aware doesn't get you anywhere but further along the line in space-time that you occupy. Taking part in the creation and activation of new centers of concentration is a dynamic force in the struggle against the creeping calm that awaits. The state of death is the transformation of our subtle centers from barely functional (as they are now) to a form of stasis where in they can lie dormant awaiting further instruction. The instruction that we have at present is to live our lives in the present moment and extract from each moment the maximum available meaning. The instruction is broken down into 3 basic actions. 
Remain neutral. (By making use of opposites to nullify the polarizing effects of current experience.) 
Do not take things too seriously. (In the sense that personal responsibility is in no way an apportionment of blame or fault.) 
Let go. (Do not allow sentimental attachments to form that impede the ability to form and maintain real bonds with and between other conscious individuals. 
The application of these instructions eradicates interferences and enables the rectification of all states of mind that are impediments to the evolution of conscious awareness. It is this state of total awareness that puts death in its place and relegates it to a state of mind that is no longer required. So then, what is the utility of death? Why death and not some other form of rest/stasis/reload? Death has a particularity that is particularly useful. A symbiotic relationship with life that makes it a necessary part of the process. It is the state of static entropy that allows for existence confined within a temporal stasis. This state is engendered and enabled by the state of being of the individual. It provides a counter-point and a resistance to the advancement of our conscious awareness. The sharp knife cuts well. A dull knife is only useful as a pry-bar. Death is the steel upon which we hone the edge of our blade. Sliding into and out of that sheath of static resistance to being sharpens our senses and puts a fine edge on our perceptions. Without it we would be dull indeed. As long as our edge is keen and our hand is deft, we make use of our blade to cut away the bonds of our existence. Death is an insult to our sharpness as sentients but only in as much as a reminder that we have work left to do. Death, the finality frontier. (part 3) Static entropy and temporal stasis. A kind of relief from the constant pressure to devolve and a respite from the effort to resist it. Intelligence is the process of bringing order from chaos. When that process is blocked or otherwise interfered with, there is a counter pressure that requires temporal dilation to accommodate it. Certain planes of existence (the astral) are independent of temporal gradients. There is no "flow" of time per se, rather an accumulation of events that remain contiguous but separate as they occupy reality. It is this experiential existence that affords death with its capacity to retain and restore the vitality of "living" organisms. (Intelligent living organisms are the leading edge of this particular movement.) Like a capacitor that stores electric charge, allowing a quanta of current to flow under given conditions, death stores the memories of experience and accumulates them outside of time in a way that creates the force that engenders life, creating more experiences. ********************* Death is for the living The universe is energy, vibrations so they say 
Infinite in time and space, more than enough for all. 
Intelligence gives order, keeping entropy at bay 
While will and love go hand in hand since well before the fall. 
What we perceive depends upon much more than just our sight 
Knowing how we fit there-in, relieves us of our plight. 
To take our place and stand up tall, becoming our true self 
We only need to look within, to see just what we are. 
For energy is existence and that is what we’re given 
As long as there is energy, there will be life for living. ********************** So, why exactly do we need to die? What specifically is it about our existence that lends itself to the attributes and associations that are affiliated with this particular null state? We can start with the need to live. Existence is a means to an end and that end is certainly not death. Death is a necessary respite on the journey of existence. We live to evolve. All things change with time and those changes come about from the interplay between the forces of advancement and retention. The polarization of energy in its manifest forms that creates the potential for change. Our evolution has one significant difference with all other forms of change and forms that change. It is conscious awareness. We have proceeded from simple sentience to an understanding of our place in the universe but have yet to discern the purpose of our presence. What is the ultimate in conscious awareness and why are we not there yet?! It cannot be knowledge, for that is an infinite and overbearing load of information that no reasonable (computing) machine would consciously undertake. But what about knowing? The ability to make intuitive leaps from a state of ignorance to whatever appreciation is required. Now we are getting somewhere. Not so much planned obsolescence as it represents a need for renewed vigour. Imagine a renewed and refreshed spirit confined in a decrepit vessel. Hardly an intelligent design, wouldn't you say? The incarnational cycle has a turn-around time of about 2 generations. Just enough to permit a certain re-orientation of the newly charged subtle bodies. Another life-experience requires both space and time to settle into and to balance out the new conformation. Ideally, a one-stop shop would be nice, but the finishing touches would tend to be done hurriedly and by an ever-aging artisan. There can be no fear of death once you realize that it is an integral part of living. All of the preceding begs the following questions: -Do I ALWAYS have to lose contact with my conscious awareness to benefit from the state of death? 
-If and when I can maintain that contact how will it affect the continuity of my evolutionary process? 
-Is that new state of being a logical consequence of my current conformance? Energetically speaking, we are currently in a state of meta-stable equilibrium. Since singularities are rare in nature, it is reasonable that other similar states exist at both higher and lower frequencies and potentials. On the upward curve of conscious evolution, we rise toward the next meta-stable state as we gain awareness. It is the derivative of that curve that tells us how we are progressing. The lesser the slope, the closer we are. Experiential baggage holds us back by its memorial inertia and as we accumulate that psychic mass, continued rising along the curve gets more and more energetically demanding despite the decrease in the slope that it is necessary to overcome. The steepest part of the curve comes early but youthful vigour and inexperience allows for a more rapid advancement. The key to making it to the “top” of that next hill, unlike Sysiphus, is to lighten our load as we go. Letting go of encumberments and forgetting about old scores to settle helps but the key comes from leaving behind the old paradigm of knowledge is wisdom for the next level approach of knowing is being. The current state of this situation is evinced by the ever-increasing number of Alzheimer patients who, unfortunately, suffer from dementia as well as forgetfulness. Nonetheless, once we can release our own minds from the bondage that we have made for and of ourselves, our vibratory rate increases and that frequency rises to exceed the level of the next bump in our evolutionary road. So. the next logical, and reasonable, question is: "Can I maintain that conscious awareness and just how do I do it?" As we gain awareness, our ability to discern the actual changes in the energy fields that surround us is seconded by our sense of "feel". Not feeling in terms of heat/pressure/humidity but the appreciation of our place within the flow and how it relates to our origin and eventual destination. This "feel" ( a sixth sense if there ever was one) bridges the gap between what we perceive and how it affects us. Being oblivious to that which affects us is the classical definition of lack of awareness. Being tuned-in to the ebb and flow of what is currently important to our existence is the next-level of consciousness. With each and every experience, acknowledging and taking advantage of our "feel" is the best way to define and hone this innate, if somewhat under-used, skill. Our logical and rational processes notwithstanding, the ability to read that other poker player, to sense the interest of that potentially significant other and to relate to that eventual and important ally of ours, allows us to advance and improve our evolutionary scenario. Changing from one meta-stable equilibrium to another is not an impediment to advancement. It is a necessity. We are all here to apprise our situation and ameliorate our condition. With each and every step, we advance toward our destination. We need only consolidate and cultivate this tendency to elevate it to where it can operate at all times and in all ways. Just another of our "subtle" attributes, installed and instilled in our psyche, waiting for us to make use of their availability. So, now that our mental clarity and psychic acuity are sufficient to enable our passage to the next level, just what can we expect as we avail ourselves of this subsequent paradigm? The situation and condition is dependent upon the nature of the psychic terrain through which we must travel. Knowing what to expect is the best guide to a successful arrival. Since everything is energy and our existence is fundamentally vibratory in nature, it is the vibratory state of this terrain that will show us the way. Memories and the thought processes that they engender are much denser than the more rarified aspects of the unknown and its nascent and unspecified eventualities. As such, much like any natural system, the more compact the elements, the hotter they tend to be. Heat is described as infra-red radiation while light is a higher frequency. Finding oneself in terra incognita, making use of universal principles will stand us in good stead. Thus the perception of warmth will show the way back to the lower levels. Coolness will describe the nature of that which is undergoing expansion and providing room to grow. Since both are vibratory, choose the cool light and your path will be clear and unfettered. Death, the finality frontier. (part 4) Indeed, that trine of light, electric and magnetic forces is of specific interest. Pairing up with the mental, emotional and egoic aspects of self helps us to discern how our subtle bodies react and employ the various manifestations of energy as we experience it. Be it enlightenment, the heat of the moment or magnetic attraction, they all play a role in our never-ending journey. The orthogonal nature of these components is also of interest. Every lock requires a key and that key must be properly oriented, inserted and turned in order to unlock the passage into that next level. Each force being properly applied in the correct orientation to fit with the requirements of the situation. We only have so many tools, therefore it is a good thing that our complexity gives way to complicity and the application of fundamental principles. The expanding universe appears to be accelerating. What could possibly be driving this expansion at an ever-increasing rate? The current scientific wisdom ascribes this to "dark" matter and "dark" energy. Unknown forces that operate over universal scales to dominate the stellar and galactic landscape. Not dark, just light. The pressure of presence. Our presence. Information and the entanglement (quantum and otherwise) of knowing the relationship between each and every aspect of our existence. Is sentience spread throughout the universe? From the pervasiveness of this force, it would appear that we are not alone. Not only our presence but the lingering effect of our passage. With each cycle, we accumulate and promulgate ever greater combinations of knowing and knowledge. A veritable cornucopia. We are the impetus for expansion. With each effort made to connect the dots, we create and co-create ever-widening circles of influence. At some point, these expanding spheres will overlap and we will become aware of our place in the universe as well as how we fit within the whole. Speaking of time, once we come to grips with experiential perception ( our brain is constantly interpreting emf signals into forms and structures that we can cognitively deal with) we must also consider the timing and timeliness of our existence. We are voyagers in time as well as space, after all. 
The dimensionality of our temporal nature is not uniform nor is it invariant. We compress and extend time perception with the gravity of our psychic mass just as inertial mass and relative velocities do as well. Very comforting to know that we have all the time we need. Next up is the cyclical nature of time as it manifests through our materiality. The dilation effect demonstrated by Einstein is also applicable to tangential (or radial or centripetal) motion such as evinced by tachyons and cerenkov radiation as it appears when sub-atomic particles go faster than the speed of light. Not impossible, just part of the effect of resonance in all circular or cyclical systems. Time is affected by the synergy of our resonance and its constancy is actually a function of how our psychic mass affects its dilation as it passes through us (And not the other way round!). So we are locked into a cyclical rhythm that holds time flow constant while we advance around it. A sort of symbiotic interaction that death serves to punctuate at each turn of the wheel. At the heart of the cyclical nature of time is the reincarnation cycle and its pre-requisite....the meaning of life...or at least its most evident purpose. The universal principle of balance ensures that all inequities can (eventually) be corrected (counteracted) by the appropriate application of movement (energy) at subtle and especially tangible levels. Why else "drop down" into the material plane, if not to effect substantial changes to any and all aspects of our imperfect existence? Initially, reorientation and the accumulation of psychic mass ensures a minimum number of trials before adequate change can be effected. The intrinsic nature of matter implies a tendency to repeat (inertia) so care must be taken to make the adjustments that do not instigate the need for "do-overs". Our imperfections are simply indications of our state of mind and just exactly where we are on the curve of conscious awareness. Death is not a hindrance, simply a way station on that often rocky road. Footprints trace a path on an endless beach, Waves crash and wash away remnants of what once was Unmarked sand stretches out beckoning our approach The setting sun frames a destination where sea and land meet. With each step, a new beginning takes on meaning Together and forever, advancing hand in hand, step by step Walking into that sun’s gentle warmth and subtle glow We become one with the world and its ebb and flow. THE EGO… The ego, wtf is it anyway? (part 1) Like the semi-silvered mirror in a laser device, the ego is a lens that allows the transmission of luminous energy. Like a lens, it is transparent but is subject to flaws and transmissive obstructions. Its purpose is to collate and direct the focus of the energy that is being transmitted by the consciousness that provides it with its energy source. Unfortunately, in its semi-silvered state, it "creates" a nebulous image of the source of the transmission. As such, it acts as if the transmission had its origin point at that image. This is the ego-self that we perceive. Of all of the psychic structures, the ego takes the hit as far as responsibility is concerned for our physical manifestation. On the ethereal plane, the ego is the densest formation and is adjacent to and supported by the astral and inframental planes. The ego is positioned within one extreme of the vital body from whence your living energy is emitted and as such has a direct influence on your physical self. How it is influenced and directed by the higher planes of existence is an exercise in detective work for the interested and the aware. In terms of our selves and how we relate to our essence (source) the question becomes a bit more personal. We understand that we pervade our existence with a personalized perception of our surroundings. What we bring to life certainly seems to be germane to our progression as spirit beings. If this is the case then how do we match what we are doing with what is our purpose for doing these things? Like any good blueprint/recipe/instruction/directive the "cook" is the means to use the instruments to accomplish the purpose and although he may adjust quantities and alter methods.....trial and error does create a lot of errors.... The lens part was needed to focus our energy as the density of this plane is pretty damn tough for such a nebulous emission to penetrate. This is in part the reason why the ego is such a strong psychic structure. It also provides the exit point for the resonance pumping of the energy to allow it to gain sufficient strength so that the ego appears to control the emission. If it walks like a duck...etc. As we know, however, appearances can be deceiving. Purpose and design relate intimately to function and effect. A close look at our "personality" and its responses to various stimuli and situations provides all the clues that we need to follow that particular thread to its origin. The need to participate is inherent and intelligent. The desire to be part of the group is egoic in nature and subject to emotivisation. The attempt to post a better or more correct version of what was said is pure ego. Post what is within you. We will see (feel) your vibe and adjust ourselves accordingly. It is this process of exchange and adjustment that is the key to awareness and consciousness raising. You need no source of inspiration greater than yourself. You need no better teacher than your own experience. The objective result will be an alteration of your subjective reality that better indicates your current state. (The spiritual refer to this as cleansing and when it becomes part of a requirement then it is ritual cleansing...yuk...) The ego, wtf is it anyway? (part 2) So what is it about the ego that makes it want and be able to steer our activity towards the combative and contestatory aspect of our interpersonal relations? We make a statement based on our point of view and full of our intent regarding a given subject and its influence/impact/meaning relative to our current place in reality as reported on by the intellect. Don't forget that the intellect is the "rational" part of the inframental region. The memorial content of the ego (actually the memorial content that lies between the descendant luminous energy and the egoic structure) colors this energy with the various aspects and conditions of our person"ality". This is the "subjective" aspect of the egoic process. If your level of consciousness does not permit you to be aware of these impediments to the perception of reality then you will be convinced by your thought "processes" that your position is "real" and therefore valid and justified. When we receive the comeback to our statement, it is processed and adjusted by our current condition. Comparisons and evaluations are then made between our initial statement and the resulting similarities and differences that are found. By looking at these comparisons in content, we define the intent and then start to adjust our vision of the position of our respondant. The degree to which the two positions are found to be in opposition creates an immediate feedback that perturbs the reactive memory. This perturbation produces emotive responses that generate feelings that can be very strong and quite visceral (physical). This is, in effect, a "short circuit" of the energy circulation system that bleeds away the consciousness raising factor in favor of the emotional fight or flight response. (One of the survival “instincts” retained by the psyche after the transformation of the instinctive memory.) Depending on the nature of the memorial content and how sensitive and how strongly these memorial chords are being struck determines the type and strength of the egoic response. This response is, however, an indicator of the underlying content of the memorial impediments and as such can be used by both parties to elucidate and illuminate the obscuring factors in play. Destruction of the ego is a touchy subject. The ego is how we manage to perceive ourselves in a physical and subjective way. What then is the ethereal and objective reality that we cannot perceive through the ego, 
and why is it so? The ego is the collimator and the agent of focus for all luminous energy transmissions that we undertake. As such, it relies on it's feedback mechanisms to ensure that it is able to properly perceive and actuate the forms that are required to be used or even created for our needs. Something like a baker mistaking his oven as the part of himself that is responsible for the bread that he makes. An important and necessary part but just one that is used for a specific purpose. A lens can be bidirectional. This is very useful when the source of the transmission needs to observe its current status and what aspects of itself and their functions need to be adjusted or refined. Introspection is the egoic method of self-examination. The transformation that can result from this process is superficial only and that is because the ego is looking in at itself! The ego's function in the inframental region is to collimate and transmit. There is no room for the ego to pick itself up by its bootstraps and change either its form nor its orientation. How then can real change come about? The transmutation of the egoic substance and material is a supramental function. The supramental region of the psychic reality of man is a plane of higher vibrational sensibility that exists within us all. Awareness and the use of this region involves accessing the psychic self. The psychic self is that part of our reality that is ready and waiting for its call into action. The call is energetic in nature and as such initiates with the source but depends on the ability of the psychological self to serve as conduit for the frequency and intensity raising of the consciousness that is available to us. This energy requires a resonance coupling to enable it to be perceived by and become useful in our physico-psychic reality. One's Self The ego is a mirrored lens 
that lets some of your light shine through, 
it's purpose is to show you how 
to live your life in your way too. Observe those shattered mirror's shards 
as they lay scattered all about. 
It's painful when you cut yourself 
as you attempt to join them back 
to what can never be again. 
For even if it could be done 
then all the cracks would still remain 
to show where all the faults had lain. There is still one remaining hope 
that you must strive to see in time 
that in each smallest piece of you 
remains the essence of the whole. 
And even though you think it less, 
it's just as complete as it was 
but only smaller than before 
and even one small piece of you 
is just as precious as the rest. Opposition and the taking of a position The ego's greatest strength and ultimate weakness is the requirement to validate it's appraisal of its location relative to the source and to the object of it's attention...... Building on what someone can share with us is a method of increasing awareness and raising the consciousness of both participants. The ego has little interest in this process and even less affinity for it. It requires a lot of will to look through and behind whatever is irrelevent (to you) in what you receive and only deal with what you can treat in what was sent to you. This is what the universal principle of respect is all about. Indeed flexibility is inherent as well as imposed. The ego is constructed in such a way as to also incorporate adjustments and imperfections that accumulate with time. Such as? Each successive materialization serves to accumulate and organize our experiences into those areas of interest to our source. Of interest just means in energetic conformance with the adjustments needed to further our own spiritual evolution. Like the fine tuning of a motor or other mechanical device, these adjustments are made "blindly" because we have neither the perspective nor the awarenesss of the role that our activity plays. As such (it was necessary so that the ego could be instilled with the consciousness necessary to permit the process in the first place) we tend to stumble along, seemingly destined to encounter events and support or endure them as the situation warrants. It is critical to realize that these situations were eminently planned out and arranged to allow us to complete the aforementioned task. The ego is just the device by which our consciousness was put "on hold" for the purpose of allowing us access to this experiential nexus. Once the preponderance of experience is accumulated, the process can then go to the next level and integration and reformulation of the mechanism can be started. The ego was and is the most flexible part of our psychic make-up and that is why it is "in charge" of our efforts here. That flexibility is part and parcel of the method and the manner by which we conceive and achieve our purpose. The ego, wtf is it anyway? (part 3) The elevation of consciousness is the transmutation of the ego from its semi reflective nature to an inverted fully transmissive state. The initial ego state conveys incipient psychic energy with intrinsic alteration (subduction, coloration, attenuation etc.) while also reflectng portions or percentages of this energy to internal psychic structures. The inverted and refurbished (uhhhh, reemed out, purified etc.) ego is like a semi silvered mirror that receives and transmits the signal while protecting the incipient luminous energy from sideband interference. The elevatory process requires openness and clarity. It is enacted through the stimulation of the psychic centres that are or will be opened by the various processes that the RTE (ready to elevate? ) individual undergoes during this phase of existence. The feedback and resonant loop that is created by the exchange of the vibratory psychic energy contained in the spoken word is the tool most apt to provide this impetus. The word is the form and the sound is the content. These aspects of transmission are the tools that can be used to adjust the internal mechanisms and allow them to function more and more adroitly. As the process continues, it gathers speed and efficacy and results in the ability of the subject to improve their understanding and comprehension of the method and its ramifications. So why is the ego so fragile (brittle, stiff)? Why are some so fearful of challenge while others go about as if they were without fear? Whether you consider someone a narcissist or self-loathing or some other descriptor of the various egoic states of mind, everything relates to the emotive nature of the transmissions that the ego has to convey. The processing of this descendent psychic energy involves many verifications, in detail, with both the intellect and the reactive memory. In the current inframental plane, each transmission is subject to the coloration, attenuation or other adulteration caused by the various sub-forms that are present in the psychic structure. The virtually instantaneous nature of these actions makes it difficult to quantitatively discern each and every alteration but fortunately the qualitative nature of the vibration can be received completely and clearly. People are either oblivious to these aspects of self or are cowed into the belief that they are an "inherent" part of themselves for which nothing can be done. For instance, at times the very overbearing may believe themselves to be straightforward. Similarly, the reluctant believe that they have nothing to add so therefore should remain silent. It is only once an individual becomes aware of the real nature of themselves that they can fight and correct these deleterious aspects of self. In fact, all of these affectations are but improperly oriented characteristics of the psychic make-up and need of the being. Every quality can be a fault and vice versa while knowing when and how to use them is the key to fulfillment. In the process of the raising of consciousness, little has been said of the resonance amplification of descendent luminous energy by verbal exchange. In the course of normal communications (both verbal and non-verbal) the ego intercedes and dominates the entire process. Due to its function as a delimiter of boundaries (with the reactive memory) and a comparator of values (through the intellect) it manages and controls the "relative" importance and value of all energetic transmissions and thusly, all communications. The problem associated with this activity is that the inter-relation between acceptance and retention is altered in the favor of the stifling and reduction in vibratory quality and quantity of any exchange between two individuals. What happens is that elements of the personality color and drain the transmission of its intent and meaning, thus rendering it subject to domination by these aspects and the end result is the establishment of a heirarchy of energy flow that results in the oppression of one and the exaltation of the other. Not at all conducive to effective communication and of no use whatsoever in consciousness raising. In fact, what is needed is the realization that when someone communicates with you, there is present in the vibratory nature of the sound and the word that reveals much of that individuals own psychic structure. When the recipient considers this as such, he is able to build upon this structure and add to it. Much like receiving a gift, reciprocation is the expression of the universal principle of respect. Like building a foundation with bricks, once you have placed the brick, it is there for future use and remains as a support for future additions. It must be noted that in all communications there is an establishment of parity that must exist between the acceptance and retention that exists in both of the participants. This parity adjusts the "level" of the exchange and allows the free flow of energy to circulate without hindrance. The dynamic effect of this circulation is of paramount importance in the restructuring and refurbishing of the psychic structures of the individual. The ego also serves as the "plug" in the mental conduit responsible for the transmission of our psychic energy. Plug as in the sense of a window that has become very dirty over time. What light that manages to get through tends to be affected and coloured by the obstructions and veils that cover it. While all of these colorations obscure the transmission, they also reveal their presence. As well as revealing their presence, they divulge information about their make-up and their origins. Careful attention to their constitution reveals much about your individual character as well as the ways that you manifest your presence in all of the existential planes. Like a laser beam that removes a tattoo from between the layers of translucent skin, the shedding of light on these obstructions, clarifies and diminishes their presence. Obviously, as the process proceeds, more and more light is allowed through the window as it gets cleaner. The more light that is transmitted, the stronger the signal that can be used to get at the pesky stains...... Wink With time and practice, your workouts will provide you with the muscle necessary to take on the hardest and most persistant memorial residues. The exploration of the self is the greatest journey of all. The ego, wtf is it anyway? (part 4) So just how does this vocal transmission of descendent psychic energy get the job done? The more you are able to transmit an unoccluded signal, the greater its power to accomplish your intention. Your intention is not limited to your conscious appreciation of the content (form) of the sounds (words) that you have chosen. Each sound is comprised of a vibrational matrix that not only contains but also encodes the instructions for unlocking the program that is your internal make-up. You are not simply a conduit, you are the instrument of your own instruction and appreciation. The vibrational matrix that is created and transmitted through you creates harmonic resonances that set up sympathetic vibrational states within your own system as well as providing an image of those structures encoded in the transmission. Once the missive is received without adjustment (This is the crux of the issue for most and will be further described later. ) it ellicits a congruent vibration within the system of the person receiving your transmission. We have all felt the emotional resonant "jolt" when listening to a heart-wrenching story or other verbal recounting of an intense psychic or emotional experience. You choke up or tear up or otherwise demonstrate "empathy" or sympathy" for the plight of the other. Even reading text, we can often hear the words being spoken or feel the emotion of their creator. Only just words? Perhaps images generated within the mind's eye? Reminiscences of previous personal experience? All of the above and more. We are talking about a sharing experience of intimate proportions. This sharing is indeed the key to the exercise. Once you can determine that any vocal emission on your part is an offering of self to another, you become able to present yourself in a manner that matches the import of the action. The ego is a lens that must transmit without interference or adjustment. The ego's condition and performance is a direct indication of the nature of the personality as it relates to the person. Each and every fault and obstruction or occlusion is a direct result of the construction and finishing of that egoic device during the ethereal installation of the spirit in the matrix of the newborn individual. The ego also serves as a template for the work that must be done (the suffering to be endured, the realizations to be integrated, the understandings that come with the experience etc.) and is a map of what has gone before and what is still to come. It is revealed by expression because introspection is too subject to reflection and the otherwise interfering and disruptive influence of the thought process. Kind of the difference between several singers harmonizing and one singer in an echo chamber. So just where does this egoic lenticular material come from? During the arrival of the breath of life into our bodies, the spirit enters into the psychic region while the anemic energies are being installed and adjusted. Just as water vapour condenses out of the atmosphere on a cold surface, the essence of your spirit, as your spiritual energy traverses the much denser realms of your psychic structures, it partially condenses into a finely formed droplet. This droplet "hangs" from the supramental region and extends into and through the inframental and astral planes that coincide with your sentient and anemic regions. As descendent psychic energy traverses the droplet (it is like a filter of sorts at the bottom of a funnel) reflections are created during the transmission process. These reflections of egoic "brilliance" are what we nominally associate with our personality "traits". They are, in fact, representations of the vestiges and remains of previous corporeal memories that have impacted the egoic structure and have been imprinted on its contents. Once the egoic lens has had these impurities removed or refined and repositioned, the lens becomes totally transparent to the descendent psychic energy. The ego ceases to be a conflicting "source" of luminosity and resumes its intended task of directing and focusing your real source's energy based on your perspective and your intent. So, just what is the next level? And just how do we get there? The next level is the vibrational state that is engendered by creative opposition. Say what?.....or how or when or why, they are all good. When you exchange vocally with someone else, you can take any number of positions or options or stances. The critical element of the process is realizing that when you "surround" the issue, you both gain exponentially from the process of using the other as a source of understanding not only of the issue at hand but also the others point of view and how they relate to you regarding the subject matter. So, the next time that you are "opposite" someone on an issue, do not worry about winning the argument or proving your point or convincing the other person. Accept exactly what they say as being the nec plus ultra of what they understand of the situation. What you will create will be the synthesis of what both of you know and what both of you can find out. Creative opposition, the unexplored territory of the mind, the interface that allows humans to go beyond their limitations. So if the ego's manifestation (personality) is just a reflection of our person then just what is our person? The person is the constriction of the expression of the exemplified duality of our cosmic source. It is our own Rome where all roads lead. It is the cornerstone of the edifice of our psychic construction. It is the ultimate definition of our consciousness. It is the summation of all that we were, are or ever will be. It is the potential and the movement of our conscious energy, manifested by our perception-generated awareness. It is the condensation of the emanation of our intent. It is the seed from which will spring the flourishing bloom of our cosmic nature. The ego, wtf is it anyway? (part 5) The ability to discern. The ego is a collator, a focuser and a director but it is not a separator. 
It passes any and all luminosity without regard for provenance or quality. (This explains a lot about the various and sundry personality types that we see in life...) It is clear that in a creative exchange, we are obliged to receive openly and to return to the best of our ability. Otherwise we are engaged in a limited exchange that allows for various concerns, fears and prejudices to alter the nature of the vibration. This means that all kinds of distortions and distributions are incident on our psychic centers. In the lower or inframental regions, we must endure and allow the passage of such items but not once our vibratory rate has reached the supramental. One of the principle aspects of this part of our psyches is the access that it has to the duality present in all energetic forms. In this area, the polarization of incident or transient or even resident phenomena is exposed and available for adjustment. Kind of like having a windmill in a deep valley or placing it on the top of a hill. Easier and better access to the force of the wind so a much better efficiency in handling the establishment of the energy potential that provides a gradient to allow for electrical generation (creative expression). How do we get the whole situation in gear? It depends on the "lightness" of the internal processes. This is a function of the personal evolution of your consciousness and the degree to which you have and are transforming your subtle aspects through experience and adjustment. We all have crosses to bear but those that use them to better themselves are the ones that end up transforming their "weight" into a presence that both serves and enables them to continue in a more beneficial manner. What "kind" of person are you? How do you project yourself and how are you perceived? Is there a discrepancy between the way you know you are, the way you want to be and the way others see you? These differences are manifest and become evident with every action taken by and expressed through the egoic (I) principles of our personality. The person is NOT the personality. The person is what you really are, without the artifice, no frills, nothing to hide and nothing hiding anything. The personality is the slant and the orientation of the exigent circumstances of our existence. Without a personality, we might be fairly dull and straitforward but we would never have any problems with self-worth and self-deception. We would be what we do and that would depend on the moment. The egoic structures intercede in the process and affect and alter the intent of our conscious awareness. The ego (as it is transmitted as the personality) is the lack of transparency in the energetic transmission of our intent. Each and every reaction to input is indicative and a result of those fault lines and disturbances that have affected the crystallinity of the device itself. The light gets through but only after having been attenuated and colored by the make-up of the structure. Like any good and sensitive receiver, we just have to tune-in to what is going on. Once we feel the effect and see the reaction it is only a matter of time. How long does it take? Until its done. If you are in a hurry, that is an indication of a lack of capacity to withstand the process in its entirety. 
There is no time like the present and the present is what it is, a present. Throughout the evolution of humanity, our animalistic nature has revealed itself in many ways, not the least of which is a societal pack mentality and the supremacy of the "alpha" male. The top dog, be it elected or mystical or administrative, runs the show and all others in their presence become subservient and servile until someone else challenges for the lead. This conflictual and contradictory means of organization had it's utility during times when experience or physical prowess lent themselves to the survival of the individual and the group. This "verticalization of energy and information flow helped to maintain and effect control by the power that was. The ego does not have a spatial orientation. It is an anisotropic transmitter of signals. All sources (no matter how dubious) and all directions are equivalent to it's spherical lenticular nature. As we raise our vibratory rate, we are entering into a region where there is more room to maneuver in the horizontal plane with greater usefulness. This "horizontalization" is like the synergistic harmony created by a symphony orchestra. If each instrument were to play one after the other, it would not create the same effect as all instruments playing in concert. Organisationally, consider your exchanges in the sense of nodes within a network of lines of communication, stretching out and away in all directions. All persons within the "net" have access to all other points and whatever goal or purpose that is required can be reached by one or several members of the network. The benefit of the one is the benefit of the all. The egoic hierarchy can be repealed and replaced by the centricity of the individual as a contribution to the entire result. The “appearance” of any geometric form is always a function of both its orientation and the perspective of the observer. The dimensional reality of our existence limits us to the perceptions and the belief structure of our egoic nature. This situation automatically places us in a position that we believe is the center of our universe when, in fact, it is but a tiny outpost on the fringe of our existence. Despite this, that locus is fundamental to our being and must be integrated into our consciousness so that we can profit from its abilities without suffering the consequences of its dislocation. Take a plate and rotate it in front of your face. Its appearance changes from a line (edge-on) to an ovoid to a circle. Were you to flip it in the air fast enough, it would appear as a blurry sphere and if you could watch it through time that sphere would become a long cylinder as the plate reacted to the gravitational field. All of our perceptions are thusly affected and subject to interpretation by an arbiter that lacks the ability to discern with certainty the exact nature of the apparition. Being “open-minded” is a pre-requisite for the treatment of the ego and its processes. Allowing for and even encouraging the free-flow of ideas and information creates an instability which causes the ego to “vibrate” sympathetically with all of the new situations. As we realize our limitations, we stretch out our boundaries and incorporate the passage of additional energies that disturb and provoke all of the internal structures. 
Like being awakened from a deep sleep, it is important to know that once we are roused, we must take advantage of the opportunity that results from the exposition of our psychic nature. This is our fundamental purpose and the greatest benefit of our experience. The ego, wtf is it anyway? (part 6) Its not only what it is but also how it is that matters. The ego is the manifestation of our ethereal presence in the material plane. It projects our transcendence through its partially obturated substance and we perceive that projection by the way we feel and the outlook that we have as well as the altered nature (subjectivity) of our perception. It is not that we need to rid ourselves of the ego's influence as we need to have an ego that is limited to its preternatural function and that it is in top shape to perform it's normal (not typical) duties. How do we "cleanse" this aspect of our substance? There is no miracle cure. The level of suffering (detergent) that we must endure is specific to the degree of impurity that exists within the occlusions. How long it takes is also a function of our approach, our timing and our degree of tolerance as well as our ability to endure. You have to be fed up in order to get up. The most fundamental property of the exchange is how the ego and its deleterious effect on our perceptions can be removed from the process. For this to occur, we need only accept without reserve what is offered and only respond with our own offering. No critique, no argument, no debate. None is needed. The synthetic and synergistic effect of this energetic resonance clarifies and crystallizes the egoic make-up. Once the ego is eliminated from the equation, both sides balance and the equilibrium of knowledge results. Power is the lure that attracts the ego with its promise of control. The ego, in it's innate insecurity, is willing to cede control of it's local environment so that it can "strengthen" it's hold on it's perceptions. It fails to realize that it's perceptions are subjective in nature and personal in orientation. What results is invariably chaos when all of the disparate perspectives of those involved come crashing together. Walk a mile in his shoes refers to the sharing of presences and the appreciation of the synergy that a commonality can provide. When you control, you get what you have (and can hold onto...) when you share, you have access to everything that is present. The kind of order that the ego tries to impose is more a straight-jacket than a guide. Order implies timing and that is the key. Knowing that sentient, intelligent beings are able to equilibrate space and time implies an ability to work within those confines to generate the required movement and extract the necessary result from the energy to be used. Our "disorders" are related to the interference with our natural energy flow by those retardatory aspects of our existence. 
They are the clues. Suffering is, for the most part, just the restraint that the ego's straight-jacket places on our movement. The ego, once made transparent, is relegated to performing it's required tasks...which it does exceedingly well. It is the presence of all of the infirmities and occlusions that perturb it's lenticular clarity that cause the problems. Those "effects" are also the indications of where the faults lie and what actions are required to fix them. And what of the lenticular nature of the ego? Just how is it supposed to work and what is it's "normal" effect on our persons? A lens that is crystal-clear, transmits energy without attenuation or affectation. It allows an interstice, or bridge, between two media such that both can remain in contact without one impinging on the other. The ego is the separator of the ethereal and the material. It is a psychic construct that is wet-wired into the human brain. It induces biochemical electrical impulses from the ethereal energy feed that it receives from our higher (more rarified) planes of existence. Much like the piezo-electric effect of a quartz crystal, the human being has adapted this technique to provide it with a link to another realm. The ego is neither the enemy nor the obstruction. It is the asset and the ally that, once reclaimed to the essence of the person, will function effectively as originally intended. The built-in correction factors will have all been used up and removed from their obscuring presence. Not only being useful for this effect, it will also serve the purpose of connecting our newly-minted essence to the ethereal. These processes all serve a purpose and that is to permit the evolving consciousness to remain integral to our person no matter where we continue our voyage. So why does the ego have control over the self? Wouldn't it make more sense for the person to be "in charge" and able to suppress or enable the egoic "forces" as required? In fact, the ego controls nothing. It is a totally reactive and mechanical part of the psychic structure. As such, it is only fulfilling the task set out for it, by the self, according to the limitations and guidance provided by the source, as interpreted and transformed by the spirit. This direct chain of command has one disconnect. The imperfections that are instilled and inherent in the actual psychic structures are magnified and strengthened by the physical nature of our reality. Ethereally, the ego is just a connector and a waveguide for the transmission of psychic energy from one to many and from many to one. Physically, the ego is a structured and crystallized energy form that contains and retains all of the occlusions and imperfections inherent to the current state of being. Our physical reality is so much more massive and dense than our ethereal nature that it confers upon the egoic structure, a force that completely overwhelms our personal presence. The purpose is two-fold. First, this ensures that the corrections to be made to the structures are evident and easily defined. Second, the interaction between poles of the energetic exchange that is needed to make the corrections, is sufficiently large to effect the required changes. The knowledge that the program has been written and needs only be followed to perfection, leads to the conclusion that we must be aware of our situation, adjust to every input so as to maintain neutrality and continue on our way, without fear of what may not be apparent but which is never unknown. The ego, wtf is it anyway? (part 7) So where does our perception that our ego is in control come from? Why do we feel that we, personally, are in charge of our process? The ego has a lenticular nature. Not only does it collate and focus psychic energy, it reflects it as well. Incident energy of the right frequency and direction is neither absorbed nor transmitted. That energy is then "perceived" by the subtle centers and is re-"cognized" as coming from some incident source. Since this energy has our "signature" it is common to our origin and is taken as such. The ego is but a pale imitation of the self and only interferes with our ability to actively participate in the process of presence. All kinds of interference patterns are set up within the ego and each and every aspect is delineated and defined by the energies that it provokes. These "emotional" states have nothing to do with actuality and everything to do with actualization. How we are fooled into thinking that we are not what we are is part of the problem. That we must use this information to determine and rectify those areas of our make-up that require adjustment is, indeed, the purpose of our presence. While all of the preceding may seem like endless ego-bashing, the ego is on the front-lines of the evolution of consciousness. Like any good soldier, the ego takes its equipment, training and instructions into battle and does the best that it can, under the conditions and circumstances of its endeavor. Why is this so and what, if anything, does the ego get out of the experience and process? Our experimental and experiential planet was created and designed to "inject" a new form of being into the cosmos. A being that, while able to interact and commune with all other lifeforms, could exist while maintaining a unique and substantive perception, free from influence and impediment. This may seem self-evident but quantum mechanical forces being what they are, the power to provide such an independent world-view is paramount. The universe and its multiplicity of parallels is a most bewildering place. To be able to concisely and cohesively perceive alternatives and choose accordingly is a most prized ability. While this exists on much higher planes, it is an ability lost in the density of the material and ethereal levels. The potential to differentiate energy such that its source identification is not lost is the province and the potential of the ego-structure. The psychic mass of humanity is sharply divided. Conscious awareness is a direction that the spirit provides to the ego so that psychic energy can serve the person for evolutionary purposes. That direction is diametrically opposed to the retarding and counter-balancing forces of the involutionary aspects of humanity. As each oblivious individual finds themselves on the asymptotic approach to conscious evolution, they need only take the necessary step to cross the divide and change direction. Our role is to continue on our path. Our function is to share with others, as best we can, but only when they are ready. They will be ready when they broach that gap and we will welcome their presence. The knowledge that paths will cross when they are meant to do so is certainty and tranquility. The belief that we should intervene is spiritual hubris and trying to interfere is a waste of everyone's time and energy. Saving the world is best done, one person at a time. Along that path, you will encounter three types of people. Those that are:
